In a letter to Senator Basheer Mohammed who recently defected to the ranks of the APC, president Buhari assured the Kano state lawmaker that APC still has the backing of Nigerians. He said he expects millions of Nigerians to defect to the ruling party in the next few months. The President's personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad shared the letter on Twitter. The letter was personally signed by the President.
