Lupita Nyong'o to star in the film adaptation of Trevor Noah's book "Born A Crime"

Just off the set of the blockbuster movie Black Panther, Lupita Nyong'o is about to star in another amazing African project.

The Black beauty has revealed she will be starring in and also producing the film adaptation of Trevor Noah's book titled, Born A Crime.

Sharing a photo of her with Trevor, she wrote: "When I read @TrevorNoah's "Born A Crime," I could not put the book down. Excited to announce that I will be starring in and producing its feature film adaptation! #BornACrime"

 

 

Lupita will be acting the part of Trevor Noah's mother in the movie which is based on his memoir. He said he chose her because she is beyond a perfect fit.

Sharing her Instagram announcement, he wrote: "My mom is a powerful woman who could easily be one of the beautiful soldiers in Wakanda. So it's beyond a perfect fit that she would be portrayed on the big screen by the radiant and regal Lupita Nyong' o. I'm beyond excited.
