''I am not Dangote's daughter, please'' Ebonyi state lawmaker, Maria Ude Nwachi tells her followers asking her for money

Popular Ebonyi state House of Assembly member, Maria Ude Nwachi, has appealed to her followers on social media to take it easy with how they ask her for financial ssistant. In a post she shared on her page this morning, Maria says she also has her own financial commitments. According to her, she will like to give but she cannot be of help financially to everyone. Her post in part reads

''Since 2009, I have given away 10s millions of Naira, given away lots of phones, laptops, and other goodies, to many here on Facebook; via contests, giveaways and other ways. I have never met nor seen over 99% of them. In fact I do not remember most of the recipients. I give, again, in accordance with my capabilities at any given period. Here is the deal my brothers and sisters: I am not rich, I am not some powerful woman somewhere Those people you think I am connected to are my clients. I am a boyboy to them. They are not my friends nor are they my peers. I simply serve them. I serve them. I am their photographer. I manage their Image online and Facebook accounts. That is it. Yes, I have been filthy rich many times and have seen a lot of money in my life, and the good thing about that is that no human can use money to make me compromise my own beliefs and personal integrity. It can never happen, even if I am down to my last 5 naira. I will still stand my ground. But right now; I am not what you will call RICH lol. I am just there, I am not poor either. I am just doing my best. And as you know, my responsibilities has widened, I am now taking care of much more people now.

I have my own many financial problems. But by nature, I am a happy-go-lucky woman, I take everything in stride. I am a strong believer that any problem that money can solve is not a very difficult problem at all. The problem that I consider real problems are those that money cannot solve. So whenever my problem is finacial, I breath a sign of relief, afterall, money can be made. Whenever I'm able to sort it out, I do it; if not life goes on. I don't stress it. If stressing over an issue will solve it, no one will have problems.

I am not Dangote's daughter. There is no way I can be of assistance to all that inbox me for help. And there is no way I will be able to check all hundreds of messages I can each day. It is not possible. I can only attend to some and help some I am able to. Biko nu, you are human like me, put yourself in my shoes. If I check all the messages, then I will spend basically every second of my life checking messages. Whenever I am able to, I will check on the ones I can and solve the issues I am able to solve. Biko be patient, with me, please''.
