'Continuity of the Buhari-led administration will speed up the nation’s development' - Garba Shehu

The Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Sunday said the continuity of the Buhari-led administration will speed up the nation’s development.

 

He said supporters including All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and stakeholders have thrown their weight behind President Buhari waiting eagerly for him to give a yes or no to the endorsement given him to seek re-election.
 

Shehu, who was a guest on Channels Television Programme, Sunday Politics, called in from Daura, Katsina State where President Buhari is currently on a private visit.
 

He said, “The President as we speak hasn’t spoken on whether he will run or not. But we have on record all the calls that are being made. The party, including the governors, have laid the option out for him to take. So, it is for the President to say yes or no, and we are waiting for him.
