According to reports, Mr Aduma Akobi Jacob was shot dead by unknown gunmen last Friday night.
It is not clear if it was an assassination or a robbery attack but one of his friends said that he was shot in the head during the attack.
Born 1984, Akobi, was until his murder, the Chairman of Akobi Enterprises and said to be one of the richest men in Igede Nation. He was making preparation for the dedication of his second child in February.
He was laid to rest today, January 31st, in his hometown, Ohuhu-Owo, Oju Local Government Area of Benue State.
Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn him, urging him to avenge his death.

All your friends and brothers are gathered to dig your grave. Please Akobi do not allow whoever that killed you to go free, suffer them to Confess with their mouth before they go to their graves..." one wrote.
